Furpee PH is an online marketplace that connects dog breeders and sellers with potential buyers in the Philippines. We provide a platform for listing, browsing, and facilitating the sale of puppies and dogs. We do not own, breed, or sell any animals directly.

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Account Responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Update your information to keep it current and accurate
• Comply with all applicable Philippine laws and regulations

Seller Obligations

If you list animals on our platform, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable animal welfare laws in the Philippines
• Provide accurate descriptions and photos of animals
• Ensure animals are healthy and properly vaccinated
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses for breeding/selling
• Respond promptly to buyer inquiries
• Complete transactions in good faith
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and payment information
• Communicate respectfully with sellers
• Complete agreed-upon transactions
• Ensure you can properly care for any animal you purchase
• Comply with local regulations regarding pet ownership
• Report any issues or concerns to Furpee PH

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Service to:

• List animals that are sick, injured, or obtained illegally
• Engage in puppy mill operations or inhumane breeding practices
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Use automated systems to access our platform
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures
• Infringe on intellectual property rights

Animal Welfare Compliance

All users must comply with the Animal Welfare Act of 1998 (Republic Act No. 8485) as amended by Republic Act No. 10631. This includes ensuring proper care, treatment, and handling of all animals listed on our platform. We reserve the right to remove listings that appear to violate animal welfare standards.

Payment and Fees

• Listing basic information is free for individual sellers
• Premium features and commercial listings may incur fees
• All transactions between buyers and sellers are independent of Furpee PH
• We are not responsible for payment disputes between users
• Fees are subject to applicable Philippine taxes

Intellectual Property

The Furpee PH platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by Philippine and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant us a license to use it for platform operations.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Platform Disclaimer

Furpee PH is a marketplace platform only. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of animals listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions. All transactions are between buyers and sellers directly.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Furpee PH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. The arbitration shall be conducted in Metro Manila, Philippines, and governed by Philippine law.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason in our sole discretion.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
